his tractor is special to us that is why we keep it, it was bought new in 1937 and was the first tractor to come on this farm with rubber tires. It' really a neat old tractor but I could not imagine spending an entire day working in the fields with it. As you can see this has an after market Belhel gearbox which increases road gear 2 mph. Even so I think I work ground faster than this!

You have a bad model A for field work. If you want one that you could stand to be on all day you would have to go about 10 years forward and get a styled A. Then you would have a cushioned seat, hydraulics, and fenders. Personally id rather be on one of these older tractors than any of the new ones though. First, they will outlast any new tractor built, and second they have more character than any new tractor will ever have.
